![]() ![]() The stamina cooldown was a good idea on paper but it makes the game a spam fest where you don't have to manage stamina cause when its empty you just press Y and it refills instantly ("amazing" game design). Power weapons don't stagger opponents adequately, and instead of balancing the game in a fair fashion, the devs decided to give the player a shit ton of healing potions to deal with the spongey and numerous enemies. The game transformed from a soulslike to a hack and slash cause i literally only had to spam light attack and stamina cooldown. Literally changed from a Power Build to an Agility build mid playthrough cause it was that much easier. There is a large amount of weaponry to choose from but light and fast weapons have higher immobilization stat (which doesnt make sense) and is broken af. The attack animations are too slow and have too much recovery time after attacking. Many repetitive enemy designs, half of which self destruct when you're about to kill them. The gameplay is mediocre at best, with some of the most annoying enemies ever conceived by man. Perhaps sticking to "historical accuracy" was worse than making the game interesting but inaccurate. I can't comprehend how someone fell off and made such a boring story. The story is so boring that you can barely play for a few hours without needing to do anything more interesting. ![]() He layed waste to most of Paris and the queen sends Aegis, the protagonist, to stop the king's rampage.
